Manchester City have joined the race for Aston Villa and England midfielder Morgan Rodgers, reports TEAMtalk.
According to the source, the English club is discussing the possibility of the 23-year-old returning to the Etihad Stadium, where he previously played in the academy. Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern and PSG are also interested in Rodgers.
City are preparing to rebuild their attacking line as Bernardo Silva is expected to leave, and the new coaching staff, led by Enzo Maresca, along with sporting director Hugo Viana, are planning to strengthen the team.
Rodgers is seen as a prime candidate to bolster his attacking options. He is open to a move if the right offer comes in, but Aston Villa are not going to sell him cheaply - his move could be one of the most expensive of the summer window.
