Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has addressed criticism of Real Madrid's Champions League results. The club holds the record for the most trophies in the competition's history with 15.
"Don't go crazy. The idea that you can win the Champions League every year is ridiculous. Winning it six times in 10 years is something that no one has ever done," journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano quoted Perez as saying on social media.
Real Madrid are second in the Spanish league table with 86 points. The team has reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League, the round of 16 of the Spanish Cup and lost in the final of the Spanish Super Cup.
