Spanish online publication AS claims that Real Madrid are interested in former Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konate. According to the source, Los Blancos are closely monitoring the situation surrounding the Frenchman, but have not yet made any moves to sign him.
A day earlier, on May 31, Liverpool announced the termination of their partnership with Konate. The Frenchman moved to the Merseyside club from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2021. He played a total of 183 games for the English team, scoring seven goals.
It should be noted that Liverpool had previously announced the resignation of Arne Slott as the team's head coach.
