Villarreal have announced the appointment of Inigo Perez as head coach. His contract runs until 2029.
"Villarreal Football Club has reached an agreement with Inigo Perez, who will become the head coach of the first team for the next three seasons, until June 2029. Navarrese's presentation as the new head coach of Villarreal will take place on Tuesday, June 2, at the Estadio Ceramica," the club's press service said in a statement posted on its official website.
Previously, the specialist coached Rayo Vallecano, with whom he reached the final of the 2025/2026 Conference League season. The Spanish club lost to Crystal Palace in the final match of the tournament (0:1).
