Unai Emery: "We deserved more in the last game"

Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery commented on the draw (2:2) against Burnley in the 36th round of the English Premier League.

"I'm grateful to the players for their efforts on Thursday and today, which secured our place in the Europa League final. In the last game we deserved more. We should have won, but we missed three dangerous chances and conceded two goals. It's very difficult when you don't take advantage of these situations, but we created enough chances to win and also scored a goal that was disallowed for offside.

"We attacked often, took many corners, played for the win. The players showed their desire to earn three points," Emery was quoted as saying by the official website of the Birmingham club.
